Detox Drink Recipe

Happy New Year, folks!  Since we’ve indulged in eating too much last holiday season, here’s a concoction of a health drink I’ve googled.  This is not my original recipe but I want to share this with you so we can all detoxify our physical bodies from all those cholesterol-rich food we’ve partaken.  Now all we need are:

  • 1 whole lemon
  • a bunch of parsley
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • an inch of ginger for some heat
  • 2 cups of waterdetox-drink-recipe
    1.  Wash parsley leaves properly.
    2.  Slice cucumber and ginger thinly.
    3.  Squeeze in lemon.
    4.  Put everything in a blender.

Blend in frappé mode, transfer to a mason jar, and sip with a paper straw for cute presentation and the sosyal feels.  Drink every night before bedtime and enjoy!  The rest of the blend can be stored in the fridge and can last for 2 days.

You may find the drink a bit spicy and bitter at first but you’ll get the hang of it.  I’ve been drinking this formula for 3 weeks already and I now find it so refreshing.  Parsley is only P18, ginger P10, cucumber P24, and lemon is P36.  For 3 servings at only P88, the drink can help us to have a go every morning!
