I was so delighted when Atsi Ann tagged us along for lunch to Greenbelt 2 in Makati when we were going for our Cambodia trip last June.  It was actually our first stop for our midyear fooding adventure and we got so lucky because our buena mano was a very satisfying glorious meal.  Just look at the spread that we had!

The Calamares is so crunchy and doesn’t feel rubbery.  It is perfectly seasoned with whatever they put in on it because the taste is so remarkable that I couldn’t even describe in my own capability.  Hehe…..  The Garlic Pork Adobo Belly is of course, very garlicky.  But the garlic is not overdone which can make the dish bitter.  It just has the right crisp on it and the adobo flavor is not that strong like the ones we purchase in grocery stores.  Though it’s cooked differently, it doesn’t lose it’s real adobo essence.  And finally, the specialty of the house, Crispy Sizzling Sisig Overload!!!  That’s with a shout!  And shout out to this best sisig ever!!!  Oh, I could still taste it!  It was my first time to have a sisig which is crispy and explodes with a feast of flavors inside your mouth.  All umami goodness is here in this sizzling plate!  It’s not nakakaumay and you can adjust its spice by the amount of siling labuyo you want to be added on it.
