Feature Friday: VjANDEP Commissary Visit

Feature Friday highlights businesses, people, fashion, and basically anything under the sun!

VjANDEP is for Virgilio Jose and Eleanor Popera, the lovely couple behind Mindanao’s sweetest pastel. It was such a great honor to meet them with their eldest son, Dr. Viel Popera Jose who is also a travel blogger.  The day after our KMME launch, we had a mini field trip at VjANDEP Commissary in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City.  The commissary is strategically located along the highway just before leaving CDO if you’re heading to Laguindingan Airport for easy access to motorists and tourists for pasalubong shopping.

Speaking of pasalubong, VjANDEP is now taking their pasalubong centers to a greater height.  They just launched Gasa (the vernacular term for “gift” which is the name of all their pasalubong centers) a few months ago together with Ba’ay (the vernacular term for “house” which is the name of their resort hotel in Camiguin) and Samuel (their Filipino restaurant) under VjANDEP Ventures, Inc. (VVI).

Who would have thought that from a simple bakeshop of a simple housewife in Camiguin Island would grow a company this big?  VjANDEP’s story is a story of dreams, love, and family so here’s the love story of Sir Virgilio and Ma’am Eleanor.  Do click play on the vid below!
