If I fall, it must be upright. Taking one step at a time, slowly but surely.
If I fall, it must be at the right time in the right place. The path must be made straight first before entertaining “the one”.
If I fall, it must be ordained. Eyes twinkling, heart thumping, and butterflies in the stomach!
But after 36 years of waiting and wishful thinking, ideal gases really don’t exist in this physical universe.
So if I fall, it would be boundless! No fear, no overthinking, no restrictions!
If I fall, it would be for the wrong guy. Wrong guys break rules. Adventurous, radical!
If I fall, it would be real. No pretense, no sweeping off my feet, no happily ever after. Just time and being.
Expectation versus reality. Ideal versus real. Reality does exist. That is, if I fall.
